Out of all the homes in the n’borhood she picked Sonny and Kathie Spahr’s. At first there was only 1 newborn kitten that Kathie discovered crawling around her backyard with the afterbirth still attached. Kathie came next door and told me (sis in law) about it. All I could suggest was to look online and find tips on how to get rid of the afterbirth, which was still attached. From my personal experience with animals, the mother feline usually rejects the kitten if it smells human hands on it. Since Kathie was concerned and picked it up, it was very likely she would now need to care for it. I advised her to bring it in, cut off the chord, wipe its tummy down with water, and feed it until she was able to figure out what to do. (continued on Part 2)

Today, my girlfriend and I took on five, two- week -old kittens that have no mother and were going to be put to sleep. Each is available to a good home in about a month.

Then, i rip apart some kittens with my knife to feed my opossum with their blood, and at last, i crush some chicks with a hammer to have fun.

We knew most of the islands would be packed full of holidaymakers from throughout Europe, so we thought it wise to head to the less touristy island of Lesvos. Lesvos, while part of Greece, is actually closer to Turkey than it is to the rest of Greece, so we crossed our fingers and hoped that the distance might mean the beaches would be less crowded. The easiest way to get to Lesvos from Turkey is to take an hour and a half ferry ride a mere 25 kilometers across the Mytilini Strait. There are two ferry ports in Turkey that will get you to Lesvos; we chose to depart from the town of Ayvalik, an overnight bus ride southwest from Istanbul. People had told us over and over how amazing buses in Turkey are, so we were looking forward to our first Turkish bus experience. After a day of classes, we threw the necessities into a pack and walked up to Taksim, just in time to grab the service bus to the company’s main bus station on the Asian side. I want to upload this video with as much explanation I can give of my first experience handling a pregnant cat. (Escuse the music. The boyfriend felt it were appropriate to play music after our poor cat had just suffered for 6 hours :-S ) During her pregnancy I was constantly searching online for as much information I could find but was left slightly confused. So for all you first timers I hope this helps because I nearly had a panic attack and fainted. LOLZ (not funny) Obviously with every cat their symptoms differ. My cat didn’t show many signs of nesting until she hit labour. The last week of her pregnancy she was a lot more energetic, playful and a little bit aggressive. I had no idea when her due date was so I made sure to keep a close eye on any changes. She is a tiny cat and her belly did not show too much until the last week where the babies moving were clearly visible and her tummy grew a lot. Clear indications of her going into labour was a constant need for attention she followed me everywhere meowing at me but when I gave her food she ignored it and continued to meow until I gave her love which then lead her to purring constantly no breaks just constant purring. She then lay in her nesting box which I had made 6 weeks into her pregnancy and she had never entered ONCE until she reached labour (really weird) her breathing rate increased and she was trembling a little bit.
